Clarke set to drive UK expansion at Electrak
Modular power distribution specialist, Electrak, has promoted Paul Clarke to the post of national sales manager to help build on the company’s continuing expansion across the UK.
Electrak has achieved an impressive 25% growth rate over the past two years and has ambitious plans to capitalise on this with new products and an increased penetration into export markets. Clarke’s promotion will allow Electrak’s directors to focus on building the company’s export business while he focuses on building UK market share, alongside Electrak’s six-strong regional sales team.
With almost 30 years in the electrical industry and a 19-year track record with Electrak, Clarke’s wealth of experience and clear understanding of customers’ needs have marked him out for this pivotal new role at Electrak. Previously responsible for all consultant, contractor and wholesaler customers along the M62 corridor, he will retain customer-facing responsibility for a portfolio of Manchester and Liverpool based customers, as well as taking on a managerial remit for the sales team and overall responsibility for continuing to increase sales.
Clarke’s promotion has been made alongside the addition of new Specification Sales Engineer, Adam Clark, to the Electrak sales team. Adam takes on responsibility for customers in Leeds, South Yorkshire and Humberside as part of the company’s strategic plan to put in place an account management structure that will support continued growth.
