Electrak puts NG Bailey on track for North East move

Apr 10, 2008

Electrical contractor, NG Bailey, has chosen Electrak underfloor busbar and floorboxes for the fit out of its new Tyneside office as part of its North East operations.

Rapid expansion in the North East has led NG Bailey to move from its former offices just outside Newcastle city centre to new build premises in Monkton. The company has taken two units at the prestigious Merchant Court development to accommodate its office needs as it continues to expand in the North East and Electrak underfloor busbar and floorboxes have been specified as part of the Cat 2 electrical installation.

Future flexibility was an essential element of the fit out project as the company will need to ensure that its new offices can adapt as the company continues to grow. Speed of installation was also vital, as NG Bailey wanted to complete the installation and take up occupancy in the new Tyneside office as quickly as possible.

“We know Electrak products very well because we use them all the time,” commented Colin Biggs from NG Bailey. “Not only does Electrak’s plug and play system mean that we’ve been able to build in the future flexibility we’ll need if our requirements change, but the quality of the system and the track record of Electrak installations mean that we can be confident of a reliable system. And of course, because we know Electrak, we knew we’d get great service, which really helped us to achieve our aim of moving in as quickly as possible.”
