Electrak plugs in to Tim's office furniture expertise
Electrak has appointed Tim Sinton-Hewitt to a newly created sales manager post to spearhead market development of its desk module products into the office furniture sector. Tim has been recruited for both his product knowledge and office furniture sector expertise to exploit this lucrative market for Electrak.
The move follows the company’s ongoing success in increasing sales of its 32 amp plug and play ‘Rotasoc’ desk module system via the electrical specifier and contractor markets.
Explained Electrak’s managing director, Geoff McCann: “Tim was involved with the initial development and marketing of Rotasoc and we have worked alongside him for several years as he continued to help drive the product’s success in the office furniture sector. His appointment at Electrak is a major coup for us and will help us to realise our goal of diversifying our routes to maximise the sales potential of our existing product ranges.”
Originally from an accounting background, Tim was managing director of electrical power monitoring and control systems specialist, PowerLogic, for 10 years. His remit at Electrak is to develop direct sales for Rotasoc within the office furniture market in parallel with the company’s continued focus on the electrical market.
